Yeah, i am ordering a 64mb card off eBay tonight.. i am going to try out my 64mb card on it now that i have in my other 303 and make sure c&d work fine.. thanks for the help

i bought a 2nd sp303 off of ebay last week and it arrived today... it came with a 128mb smart media card already inside,,
i took it out right away and was wondering if the 128mb card will work properly on this sampler? I read it supports only up to 64mb....

I am worried there may already be ...

i got a 2nd 303 today off ebay and it arrived earlier, it came with a 128mb smart card..... should i just sell this one on eBay and buy a 64mb one??
or does anyone know if the 128 will work without doing any damage to the unit?

by resampling do you mean by sampling the original sample by fading it in/out and having that faded sample be the new one? heh, sorry if thats confusing.... i just need 2 303's and a little mixer to use for live performances with vocals going through one of the 303's mostly,,and the other doing the ...

I have 2 rather small, but indefinitely huge questions...

is there any way to fade IN and OUT on the sp-303 without using the 'volume' knob to turn it slowly up or down... [for example, could i have 2 samples going and fade one of them out slowly while the other stays looping in the same volume ...

what all do i need to be able to record a song off of the sp-303??

right now i am just running songs i already had finished on garageband through it via the rca cables and putting effects on it that way, but it'd be nice to make a song layered out of the samples i do have in Bank A/B for now ...

i figured out what the problem was, [my own stupidity mostly], i need a Mono 1/4th jack.. ive been using a stereo jack.. i switched around the input im using with my headphones after putting in the RCA cables and it worked, and then once i put the headphone jack on the mic, it worked.. so, gotta run ...

i tried hittin record, bank A, pad 1- then ext source and the ext source button wont come on - it only comes on when record is off, and turns off once i hit record
, i am assuming youre not having this problem?

i just tried to record a small sample and as soon as i hit record the 2nd time and it starts flashing, the EXT SOURCE light goes off and i cant hear it through my headphones - should i be holding this button or is there something i am doing wrong?

wow i did not even think of the big 'EXT SOURCE' button down on the bottom right. --they don't even mention it in the 'recording with a mic' part of the manual for the 303.. weird

I hadnt touched this or made sure it was lit up when recording with my mic, i made sure the little mic level knob was ...

i have a mic with 1/8th input going into a 1/4th plugged into the mic input on the front of the SP-303,,, i also have 1/8th headphones into 1/4th going into the headphones slot. 9V Power cord as well [as needed]

is it the same card thats used for cameras and some mp3 players and such??

I just bought a sp-303 off eBay for 185 buy it now, it is being sent without a 64mb smart media card--- I have found a handful of these on eBay, however there are several different brands and the cards look a tad bit different - each are 64mb smart media cards, however.
