I'm loving the mk2 like you said best function of the mpc but in sp form and everything all in one box

When your in the chop sample edit screen press down the encoder and press shift and you will enter a new screen with just numbers and no waveform.

Don't sleep the MK2 is a beast! There's flaws with every machine. You want to chop og number style on the MK2 there's a secret button combo to not have the wave form and you can chop by numbers. There's so many nice features on the MK2 you just have to spend time with the machine and let it unveil ...

Just discovered a cool little trick with ping ping loop,if you set the sample to reverse it will start the ping pong loop from the beggining of the loop point,hope I making sense.

BTW there's not alot of menu diving its all easy to navigate!I have confirmed that the MKII does have the same magic as all other SP,just more futuristic!

The MKII is def a beast but it is a different kind then the OG! like some of you said since it does lack limitations you can get caught up in the mpc cookie cutter style, but you can always use a different mind set to overcome that. As far as effects some are good some im not fully feeling yet,it ...

Those who have spent time with both the OG 404 and the MKII what are your thoughts on the new 404?I'm primarily interested if you think one sounds better than the other?with all the new features do you still feel the MKII has the magic touch the OG has?

How do you set the bank volume?

Any one experience low sample levels when sampling into the mkii?the out put of my turn table or computer is at full level and no matter what it seems like I always have to normalize the sample. I have the input levels on the mkii at full level and also the noise gate and autenator are set correct ...
