You can use Reason with this all you have to do is set it up as a generic keyboard. The control is flawless. Using this in Ableton however Pad 1 is assigned as B0 instead of C1. Pad 2 is C1. I am using Ableton 6.0 and rewiring Reason 3.0. Set up the SP-606 in the Options:Preference menu. Go to the midi sync tab and in the midi ports locate the Sp-606 and turn it on for track. :shock:You beat me to this. Ive been trying to find out if it works with Reason or Ableton. Could someone help us out with this. Would be nice to control redrum with this. HELP

Thanks for the response. I have been doing that. Line-in recording on PC into Ableton 6. I just figured it would have been easier to record the pattern, then record the song from pattern, after export the song to wav. Or even better would be to take the pattern, each track as a separate wav, and ...

Seriously nobody? Roland is no help and the Roland clan forums touched base on this and then redirected the question to come here. What gives. Im new here and would appreciate a simple answer. Nobody, who owns a 606, has an idea as to what I'm talking about? Come on. Please help.

Seriously Roland is no help. Someone with experience help me out. This unit should actually be able to do this right? All Samplers should be able to do this.

Is It possible to export the Patterns.

I just bought this thing like 2 days ago. I have figured out most of this device except if I am able to export Pad Patterns to my card then to PC. I want to import them into NN-XT in reason3.0 and add more stuff to it. I bought this cause I hate chopping samples with recycle and adobe auditon. I ...
