I do that most of the time, acid is pretty usefull for that....for some shit its pretty dope to use that distorted, crunchy 404 pitching tho......

thats cool.

mostly, i do timestretching in Audacity. the algorithms for just changing the pitch and slowing ...

you can't do both at the same time.

one of the "flaws" of the 404.

you'll just have to do both, or do it externally or something.

The 606 is an excellent partner to an MPC. yeah, that's what i figured, but i'm not really sure yet.

currently, i have an MPC1000, but i've been looking to include an SP-something to my rig.

I've been thinking about getting a Kaoss Pad of some kind for DJing usage.

I've also been wanting a Yamaha DX-7 or something similar. I've currently got a DX-21, but I hear the more professional models are better overall.

Peace all. I am thinking of getting the micro br to track out my sp404.
How is it possible to make sure eveything records in sync? say i want to have track 1 on the br record my drums, then track 2 record my main sample, etc.? thanks in advance.!!!

I thought since theres only a one track ...

basically, would the 202 be a good addition to a half-way decent rig? gritty sampling for some crunchy drums seems like it would fit in nicely for a DJ setup with a turntable and an MPC1000.

its low price also seems like it would be a cheap way to get some new inspiration/sounds. or would it just ...
