That's good news to hear.. I 'm gonna try it as soon as i install ableton. I was looking to buy a usb/midi pad like mpd32 or trigger finger but if the SP555 works midi through usb it saves my budget !!!!

Well let's take it all from the beggining. You shouldn't compare the SP-555 with the MPC1000 cause simply they belong in different categories. First of all the MPC is almost doublepriced than the SP so it's unfair to believe they are capable of doing the same sh*t ! The SP555 can't chop or pitch ...

Hi to all. I am a new Sp555 owner and i love it. It' a great machine. I would like to ask if the SP555 has the ability to use MIDI through USB or do i have to use midi cables ??? If it did it could be very handy....
