I believe you can plug in just the left or right of the rca cable to get full left or right signal by itself, or you can use the tremolo/an effect and put it on the slowest time and resample the sound when it pans close to where you like it.

Firewater rmx and dwyck rmx are my favorites.

Looked like you used the pitch knob to beat match to your drums. I was thinking of Dilla's Donuts album the other day and imagined him doing something similar to what you did. I assume you mean the sample gets cut short or truncated by clipping and not exceeding the sound floor of the sampler and digitally clipping. If that's correct I believe the sequencer doesn't play nice with gated loops in SP's, I had this issue yesterday on my 404sx and had to switch the sample to ...

For those that still have a 303, you can do real fast mutes with the effects grab button and isolator with all knobs turned to the left. For instance you can fake a side chain compression ducking sound or remove a kick or snare from a sample loop.
