I have 2 rather small, but indefinitely huge questions...

is there any way to fade IN and OUT on the sp-303 without using the 'volume' knob to turn it slowly up or down... [for example, could i have 2 samples going and fade one of them out slowly while the other stays looping in the same volume].. or am i going to have to buy a 2nd unit and intertwine the two??

My 2nd question is- what is a small 'mixer' i could use with the sp-303 that may also enable me to fade tracks in or out?? I would like to have one with computer/usb capability, but even if it is only for live performance, would be very helpful. I currently have a behringer 12 track but i want something smaller, more compact. and i know there are a vast array of small mixers out there.. any advice?

thanks a lot.
take it easy.

getting 2 SP-303s with a DJ mixer..like a numark.. with the built in USB might be what your looking for. As far as fading in/out your sample you can do this by resampling.

by resampling do you mean by sampling the original sample by fading it in/out and having that faded sample be the new one? heh, sorry if thats confusing.... i just need 2 303's and a little mixer to use for live performances with vocals going through one of the 303's mostly,,and the other doing the majority of the music

I don't know how to answer your first question, I recall Kristoffer1989's comment on a small mixer in a different thread. Try this one: the M-10MX:

cred for me:P nah, but a have to agree, the m-10mx sounds like the mixer for you. Got to admit i like the sound of two 303's/ one 303 and one 404 thru that mixer... if you have a drum machine with midi out you can use that to sync up the samplers and drum machine and have all 3 on diffrent channels on the mixer..
