Are the sp303 memory cards functional in the lower megabite ranges? is 16 enough to resample a full song to it?

why not post it in the 303 section?

anyway, a quick google ("sp-303 sampling time") brings you to the official boss product page where you would find:

Maximum Sampling Time
Internal Memory (Times Approximate)
STANDARD: 31 sec, LONG: 63 sec, LO-FI: 3 min, 10 sec
Memory Cards (Times Approximate)
8 MB
STANDARD: 4 min, LONG: 8 min, LO-FI: 25 min
16 MB
STANDARD: 8 min, LONG: 16 min, LO-FI: 50 min
32 MB
STANDARD: 16 min, LONG: 33 min, LO-FI: 101 min
64 MB
STANDARD: 33 min, LONG: 66 min, LO-FI: 202 min

i use a 16mb card all the time since it's a lot faster than a 32/64mb card. never tried an 8mb tho

I don't feel big differences with 8MB / 16MB /32MB card speed, But there IS a difference with 64MB card, it works slower.

Is there a maximum record or resample time? IT cuts me off in mono after about 2 minutes.

There shouldn't be. You can check remaining time by pressing remain button when you are in bank A/B (for internal memory) or in bank C/D (for card memory).
