So I made a track and recorded it into my DAW for mastering...but upon opening it up in Audacity to convert to mp3 i noticed that one channel is alot more filled out than the other in the waveform.Im wondering if there might be something wrong with my SP or interface or maybe its just a weak cable...im uploading a link to see if any one on here can tell me if the stereo signal seems off.If thats the case than what is the best way to go about figuring out where my issue is with my equipment like if its the rca out in,cable, interface, etc.

Heres the track.

Are the samples mono or stereo? How are you sampling RCA or 1/4 inch jack? How are you playing the sounds into the audio interface RCA or 1/4 jack? Did you check the DAW settings? Are you still using a mixer?

Also is the right side or the left side louder? It sounds to me that the left side is louder.

im sampling with a 1/4 to rca splitter and the sample was in stereo.im playing the sound into the inputs on my focusrite scarlette 2i4.ableton settings are fine never had an issue with the,the input is set to stereo and i use a mixer but only for my monitors.i have the interface out going into the mixer and the monitors connected t the mixer outs.

I mean it sounded good to me too but I noticed the piano sample sounded a little louder in the left ear. I am probably full of shit. Regardless if there is a problem it's probably just the sample since it was recorded in stereo.

Im no audio engineer but sonicaly and visualy I see no big problem. Plus its to be expected, you sampled in stereo. Its kinda the point of sampling in stereo.

Looks like maybe you got panned a lil. Visually I see one side is larger.

to test if the issue is your hardware sample in mono then check
stereo recordings are always imperfect like that
