So when I turned 25 I once got a huge inheritance from my grandparents. I bought a pair of Technics 1200's, needles, a Sp808 with the optional expansion board, 2 Event Monitors, and a Roland DJ 2000 mixer. I was on cloud 9 the day I bought all that at my local GC. I maybe spent a bunch, but I didn't really practice as a dj, and although I enjoyed the mixer and its effects, sadly, I spent ALL the money I had, got kicked out of my buddy's place I was living at(for not being on the lease when the apt manager caught me living there), and ended up selling a lot of my purchases I had spent.

A few years later, I was starting over, and I thought I'd get a Electribe er1 and a Yamaha Rm1x, but, to use them both together, I needed a decent mixer, and I saw a GC was selling the Roland DJ1000. It was smaller, and had some funky filters, but I was having fun with that modest setup, but, I'm sure I got in debt, and sold them all to pay the rent. (I can't remember exactly why, 15 years is hard to fathom sometimes).

As far as DJ mixers goes, most people will spend mad money on Pioneer mixers, but, I miss the Roland ones. But, they seem to be on lockdown if you can't even find them on eBay. I think owners must love them so much, that they don't sell them. Period! So just wondering if anybody ever spinned their wax or cdjs on these 2 mixers, or happens to have seen one in their local pawn shop collecting dust. I'd love to find them again, but I guess Roland had eggs in their faces when it came to the DJ market, and just gave Pioneer, Vestax, Numark & Gemini the glory in that game....

If you loved or hated these mixers, you can comment, but, maybe I'm the only one here that remembers these.

I'm still on the look out for a DJ2000 mixer.
The ones that have been on eBay have been beat all to hell.

Yep. Every once in awhile they've popped up on eBay but like I said they were beat all to hell for ridiculous prices.
