Does anyone know of any good hardware or software that works with the 555's vlink for controlling video other then the Motion Dive.Tokyo (which is impossible to find). I'm looking for something more current if thats possible

Some Edirol (Roland) video equipment and from a quick search it seems that Denon has implemented this protocol into some of their products aswell.

I did a post earlier about this, but I basically asked if it was worth the effort, and if the crowd liked what it did.

Hi,

(please allow me to reply to this thread as well - have also posted this in the SP-606 section)

I've seen some mentioning of the V-Link across these pages, and also thje Motion Dive VJ controller.

Couldn't get a clear impression whether it's best to be avoided (nice idea, but abandoned, no further support, so better don't bother anymore) or can it still add cool things to a setup ? (the SP-606 is shown in a Motion Dive clip)

Curious to any experiences. I'm trying to decide if it'd be wise to buy this Motion Dive package, or better go say the Arkaos route for adding some video to live music.

Thanks!
