Does anyone have trouble with sample tempo and syncing sampled phrases to a beat...I have tried everything ...and sometimes when the sample temp is lowered it stutters or goes off on a completely different tempo of its own..?

basically it's just not syncing into the correct tempo at times...I have also changed the sample to phrase and corrected the tempo in BPM Sync..

frustrated !!

Have you edit the sample loop points and forgot to 'turnc'ate?maybe :?:
also keep in mind that the actual tempo of a loop is not always on the beat of 4/4,so you have to set it at 3/4, 5/4 (it depends) to match the tempo...
hope i helped you!

Im new to this so let me understand...when do I have to set the time signature for the sample ?
would it depend on the tempo of the beat I am laying the sample into?

thanx in advance

I think you have to practice, practice, and practice. Instead of recording the sample phrase, try record, put it in rehearsal mode, listen to the tempo clock, and play your sample phrase. You may have to speed or slow the tempo down to match the tempo of the phrase sample.
