I just received my 606 from Ebay last week for $220. With the help of this site and watching youtube, I am quickly learning about this box. So far so good. I still find the p606 sequencing software confusing as hell. I am trying to figure out how to play the sounds from the p606 on my sp606. Of course, there are no directions about it. Oh well! Back to manual for more research. Peace!!

I really appreciate that. I have to admit, coming from using the MPC 1000 and the MPC 500, I could have not made a better choice than the SP 606. I want to learn how to midi the xponent and sp 606.

Digging that Gang Starr tribute- good work there! Now I see what you mean about your remix box angle, interesting. Hey, if you can figure out that p606 program too you're a champ. Never had the patience for it to be honest...

Going to get involved in the challenges too?

MPCs are known for beatmaking and I wanted something more than just beatmaking is why I turned to the SP606 and I could not be happier. I will be making a vid on how I use the p606 shortly. It is newbie stuff but hey, I'm learning.
