Hi

I have finally managed to link my Sp-606 with my iMac which is running Ableton Live.

The sync in and sync out indicators are flashing on the top left hand side of live, suggesting it is receiving and sending midi signals, and I can play tracks using the play/stop button on the Sp606. I can also adjust the BPM.

What is driving me mad is that I can't assign any of the pads to the instruments, eg a drum rack in ableton.

I click the Midi button on the top right of the screen and try to assign in the normal way (I can get it to work with the computer keyboard, but not the SP. The midi indicator lights on the top right do not light up - but i think they should only do this once i've assigned for example a drum to a pad.

sorry if i'm repeating stuff that's already on here, but it's driving me insane and has been for about two weeks! any help appreciated.

Thanks
