hi
i'm try to find if sp-606 do a feature that can mute some pads when playng patterns o songs...maybe a strategy/method could be to assign mute group to 16 pads and push only one (empty)when it occurs....
anyway, what MUTE button stands for? and SOLO and PART SEL buttons? i read nothing about it until now in the manual....

you can use the mute seltection in each pad to create a MUTE GROUP. then u can mute cetain joints @ the same time for as long as u hold the pad. ive never tried it on a blank one tho. but yeah just open sample params and assign the pads u wanna mute to a number(all corrisponding) and shytll work out...peace

hi niq
finally i get an sp-606!
thanx for sharing knowledge.
i think that my mathd (assign mute group to a blank pad) don't work, but if i sample a little silence it should work. but it's only a part of the solution of this "problem":in fact what i want is to find a button(or whatever)that helps me to mute and unmute only one pad at time (and in realtime) without assign it to a mute group but only pushing that pad...maybe a solution is to change the loop mode of that pad (gate or alternate), but after is not possible to return at the same precise point of the sample.
that's why i also ask: what SOLO, MUTE and PART SEL buttons stand for?
....if anyone knows, wellcome!
