can u take a single note or whatever and set it up so its like a keyboard similar to the mpc?

Yes you can - the procedure is outlined in another thread (Multisamples on the 606).

It takes a bit to get your head around the first time...but don't despair - I can have a multisample on in five minutes now that the procedure has become second nature to me!

Have a crack at it; if you get stuck at any point in the procedure simply tell me what's going wrong and hopefully I can help you figure it out.

I have been waiting for someone to have a go at this, because it adds a whole extra dimension to the SP and is AWESOME with the sequencer!

The synth on the D-Beam can also be used as a bassline generator, see the 'Westcoast Basslines' thread 8)
