the sample is 125.7 bpm. i'm trying to time stretch it to 93. go to bpm sync. the type is set to fixed (not 'seq'). but even if its just lowered to 125 the sample sounds like its half time. way too slow. thoughts?

Weird! On the bpm sync does the phrase shows as 125.7?Mess around with beat&measure in the sample parameters to double ,or half the bpm properties.
EDIT:
I also noticed that if you simply set the start-end loop points ,without "Truncate" the sample bpm sync does not work corectlly.

thanks for the reply. it was probably not truncating that was the problem. unfortunately i had to return the 606 yesterday cause i'm in need of cash this week for car repairs. may pick one up again in the future... gonna miss the usb interface feature. but i still like how the 404 has no screen or menus. hopefully your info might help other 606 users with the same issue. seems like there are some gaps in the 606 manual, whereas the 404 manual is fairly complete. unless i wasn't reading carefully enough...
