Yeah man no worries - you can sample just about anything really 8)

Just run the audio out from your games console to the input of the sampler.

what sort of games are you going to sample?
i think the first sample i ever chopped and matched to a breakbeat was a Final Fantasy orchestral piece...

hey that's kinda what i was thinking but with M-06 (guitar). just think you could push it through your entertainment system if it had some hall effect or somthin especially nice.

That's ill, check this if you need samples. I used a final fantasy piano riff on the "Take You Back" beat I made. Samplers gone wild, have fun.

I was playing mario party7 on my gamecube with some homies, and I unlocked some sounds from the game. You can go into this mode and play all the characters voices, and many stand alone effects by themselves. There's like 20+ sayings/sounds per character and dozens and dozens of sound effects and musical pieces, all of which you can solo up and play at will. I sampled the shit out of it. haha. Good times. I'll try to share some of them when I get around to uploading some other sounds/beats.

Hacking old games is tons o' fun when it comes to 8-bit sounds and melodies. But now we have circuit bending too for even more lo-fi sounds.

Someone should bend an atari or somesuch - the controller would make the bleeps and you could swap cartridges to get different sounds. I dunno if it'd be possible but it would be cool!

I have to find my headphone to RCA jack cable, but now that I finally got my SP606, I can't wait to sample the iTouch I'm using. But I'm also going to sample the Playstation2 I haven't been playing.

Just one problem I'm having. I have no headphones to listen to the 606, and no memory card either! (I'll have to see if I can get the memory card a bit later, but I've got some new headphones later this week) But this is going to be keeping me busy until I pick up my other electribes from the pawn shop.
