Yeah.. the drums sound stretched like and slow. I've been working on this one sample for days now. I keep recording a guitar riff from an Elton John record.. And I edit it on my computer.. I do my best in splicing the sample out from the original score.. I then send it to my SP-505.. Now 2 things happen when I do this.. 1 my drums get all messed up.. and 2 the sample is slightly off at it's end. I've recorded it over and over but nothing good has come out of it.. This can't be a helpless sample.. I'm trying to stick with this sample so it teaches me how to match samples accurately and have it play well with no interruptions.

1. Go into the Wave Edit menu, cursor down to "Play Type" and change from Phrase to Single.
2. curse at the machine for being so poorly designed.
3. Realize, suddenly, that you need two of them.
4. Buy mine.

Hmmm.. you wouldn't be looking to sell a SP-505 would you?

The changing of the Phrase to SIngle fixed my problem..
However I'm still running in the problem with the Guitar Riff I recorded.
It's 2 Measures.. When the first beat hits you hear a Bell reverbed. Then you count 2,3,4,1,2,3,4 Then after that 4th the Bell hits again. So I try to cut it as close as I can to the second Bell sound.. Otherwise I'll get a "RING"RING" which totaly messes with the beat. Also I tend to cut it too short and I get a short pocket of no sound which is minute but noticable. I'm gonna try to resample (Again) But I'm starting to think that this Riff is just not workable for a sample.
