Im thinking bout grabbing a 505 but wanted to ask u guys a question.

Does the 505 allow u to resample the input(line in) and a pad at the same time?
any feedback would be appreciated.

Its been a year, but I'm sure its possible, I use to resample my keys with a sample.

Ella did you try activating the Ext Source first before resampling? I'm sure it can be done or maybe I'm thinking of the 303. :|

:D YEAH Ellaguru!!!

I knew it, because the 303 and the 505 are almost the same, except one has a screen and bigger memory. Unfortunately I sold my 505, but I remember I use to lace samples with basslines from my old Yamaha PSR and such.

You know I never checked if my 606 can resample live input

So it's only the 404 that has been left out.... Thanks Roland!

 Don't feel bad, I'm sure there has to be a pseudo way to resample live input on the 404. On the 606 was a little bit different to resample than on the 505. I never owned the newer SPs (202 to 606 only) but when you press resample can't you just press the input source pad?

Nah... it doesn't work like that :( I've pressed all the pads I could think of and I don't think there's anyway to accomplish this.

Luckily, I got another sampler at hand!
