is there any way to change the pitch and duration of the samples?
just like a traditional sampler...

Limon - do you mean to spread the sample across the keyboard at different pitchs?

If so, I thought the 505 actually could do that - it's its main strength and the ONLY SP that can do this !

the 505 gives you an octave of different pitches +1. You can select a root key and it will do it. Its basically the pitch shift effect but with a MUCH better algorithm.

you could pitch shift then time stretch but it might garble up the sound
