yeah. why not just record the sounds straight out of the sp? i don't think boss would be offering anything that would support a long discontinued product.

yes,i've got some doubts, but we can try in mass to ask them with all the people of the forum....it will be great!

anyway do you know if sp-404 or sp-606 are able to read .sp0 files?

yes
but you must admitt that a .wav format from the sp-303 and the sp-505( i think it's the best, is the only which got a f*****g pitch function!!)it will be a wonderful thing to comunicate with pc and other samplers...

yea I think thats why the newer roland samplers all have wave support.

the 505 is kind of in a league of its own. I think they wanna sweep it under the rug. but dont quote me on that roland is crazy. you never know, they might update the OS someday and add crazy new features when better algorithms come out . peace

i don't hook the 505 up to computers, so this isn't something i'm after, but couldn't you just use a card reader on the smart media? drag and drop files?

personally, if i were trying to get info from roland on the 505, I'd want enough info on the OS so we could get it reworked by an engineer, and make a 505 version of the JJOS.

cuz you just KNOW there's potential in that box that we're not even seeing.....

drag and drop doesn't work. samples are saved in a monolithic format for each bank,
