waddup fam.

Not sure if this is right in front of my face, or if it isn't in fact possible to do... but can patterns be backed up to cards? or do they just pile up on the machine until you need to start copying over them? I was looking for this in the system menu, but couldn't find a way to copy from the machine to the card.

I usually back up my tracks by copying the entire card to the computer, but doing so without backing up pattern data is a major bummer. Any help is greatly appreciated. 8)

Waddup Count!!
To copy patterns to your card, you go in System(the button just on the left of the LCD screen),you press it and you should see options and I think that you go to F2,DEL/CPY and you choose the pattern or song and the destination(ex bk 18-19-20 etc...) and execute and you should have your pattern on your card 8)
I'm not sure if those explications but I don't think that I'm too far off...

right ^^ that backs up the patterns to the card, but they're still in the systems internal memory, right?

so what (i fink) the count is getting at is: is there a way to copy yr patterns over, then run yr patterns from the card, so that the internal space (ie: 67% remaining or whatever it tells you) remains free.

i have not found any information on this either. but would LOOOVE to know if it is possible.

Nice... thanks homie. good to hear from you.

Hmmm... what fauna is talking about would be cool too. I gotta clean up my pattern bank. I've stacked up a bunch of beats without getting em onto cards.

Thanks for the response fam. 8)
