how does one utilise mute groups within the sp-505?

is it even possible?

how can i get one sample to cut the playing of another?

as far as I know you cant mute a sample using another sample (hihat cutoff).

to mute tracks use 4 dedicated track muting buttons above the pads.

What olby said. If the 4 track mutes are not enough for you you can use the trick the 404 and 303 users use. Assign the isolator to the samples you want to mute and cut all the frequencies. Then, simply activate the FX to mute and deactiveate them to unmute.

on the 505 you can do mute groups, when a sequence changes to the next pattern it turn everything off that is recorded to the sequencer on the previous track and goes on to the next one, so this is kind of a mute group. auto off on type shit.

Can't understand how to do that. lol can you do a how to on youtube?? :S anyone ??? i just can't figure it out
