sup people

I used to lurk around here nad occasionally battle when I owned a SP404 back in '09/10 kinda time. I had to sell that fucker but recently my friend Moschops lent me one for a project I had an idea for.

Just wanted to say whaddup, and biggups to Wax Inspektor and Danswift who I see lurking around!

if anyone hasn't already, check out beats by any of the people I mentioned above, they all rock sp-'s like bosses!

other dope sp-music can be found on the Up2Scratch youtube... it's a night in Brighton that focuses on sample based music, lots of Sp heads there, probably some of them on here??

another shoutout to Alecs DeLarge, awesome SP beats from that homeboy.

ATTN MODS - is there a way i can change my user name? Since I last hung round on here I've had a crisis of confidnece and changed my name to Symatic....

Peace everyone!

If you click on your profile page and select 'User Control Panel' the 'Edit Account Settings' option will be visible on the left of the page you can then change your user name that way, Sy.

BRAP BRAP!! CNP in the house! Home of the dopest scratch records worldwide! Thanks for the shoutout symatic... funny how we meet in different forums or even real life ;)

Got any links to Moschops SP beats? Think Erik once showed me a few in the car... That scratch fossils looper is one of the few good ones I can find through that tablebeats app.. can't stand these average loopers.

Curious what you do with that SP... :)

my plans for the 404 he lent me are based around a stack of russian wax i've been collecting.... I need to up my skills first.

but hey - heres me rocking that "Mark" technique you so kindly donated here. It's great for live beat "juggles"

Yo I heard my name in 1's and 0's, enjoyed that one shot trigger vid Si, you can also imitate the juggling technique of strobing by adding new track marks on cue as the sample progresses.. Here's a video of me using the SP back in 2009, that's why it looks sepia:
