Everytime on internet i see a lot of weird/ rare gear. Sometimes they looks cool, they are usefull, sometimes not. Sometimes expensive, sometimes cheap.

That first piece has just been added to my "need to have gear list". That has to be the coolest yet most worthless piece of audio gear I have ever seen.

And for $224 it can be yours!!

Discatron

These portables were very popular amongst the collectors of 'Northern Soul' records in the early 1970's.
Lord only knows how much vintage vinyl was carved up using these things..they were atrocious !

Image

Casio CK200

Ultra rare Casio boombox/keyboard hybrid thing ..one of these popped up on EBay recently.. the sellers asking price ? £950.00 !

Lololol

Image

WEM Halle Cat 4 Channel Mixer with built in echo and reverb effects.

This is the big brother of the WEM Copi-Cat
and only a handful of these were ever manufactured .

I actually owned this particular model in the photo up until the mid 1990's when I sold it .

Over the years I've come to really regret parting with it as these are so hard to find now..virtually impossible in fact.

How about this one? Casio VL-Tone

Check out 8-Bit Keys or TechMoan on Youtube, a lot of the stuff in this thread has been reviewed by those guys.
