Is there a trick I can do to improve the timestretch, everytime I change the bpm of a sample I get a weird popping sound, is this normal?

best thing to do is never stretch slower because it really fucks up the quality and adds a very low frequency popping noise if you have to time stretch you should try to stretch everything to a faster bpm at least this is what i try to do it makes for less quality loss and i don't notice the super low frequency popping as much

Yeah, all SPs make that horrible garble timestretch, except for the 202, which has pitch tuning to adjust tempo.

From what I've putted the 303 through, the timestretch is best for drums, the garble is hardly noticeable but instrumental samples or vocals will get that noise. You can try tossing the sample into the sequencer and adjust the BPM, the noise is reduced some, not totally but a bit better than timestretch.

But the actual time shift on the 202 is not that great either.
