Any of you fuck with guitar pedals?
I've been watching a ton of youtube videos on them, when I get some money I plan on picking this up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNZ5ONauK5Y

Got a bunch of pedals. Mostly BOSS since they show up for cheap quite often in the local classifieds. Beside the effect itself I like the way they degrade the sound.

The Eventide Space is definitely nice. Have you checked out the Strymon Big Sky?

Yeah but the strymon is less capable of making weird/space/horror noises.

Cool. Sounds like I should take a closer look at the Space.

Thanks for the link. Always nice to hear Adrian Utley speak about gear. Because of him i bought a minibrute.
I use a lot of pedals with my synths, samplers and drum machines. Some years ago i was thinking about getting the eventide space and then i found the digitech supernatural verb. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xui0yeIf7I8
It has a shimmer reverb and some other cool presets. Off course it's not as complex and not quite as pro sounding as the space but it's also cheaper and i find it very cool for atmospheric long halls. Kind of gets you in the direction of a space for less money. It's worth to check it out. But if you have the money i think you won't regret getting the space. Strymon big sky is definitely dope too!

ah man, I have been eyeing theminibrute because of him too! What made you choose the mini over micro?

I bought it before the microbrute came out so i didn't have to decide. I probably would have chosen the minibrute because it has more controls and bigger keys. But the microbrute is dope too. It has a built-in 4step sequencer and the mod matrix. Minibrute has a hidden 16step sequencer option and the arpeggiator. They are both very cool synths.

If you want to hear some minibrute sounds, here's an ep i made with the minibrute, some guitar pedals and drums, all going through the SP-404:

the Eventide sounds pretty good man. it's got those spacey-trippy effects you want but can be tamed for some traditional sounds too.
some other reverbs that are dope are:

Strymon - Flint (one in the flik, also is a tremolo and my favourite pedal)
Red Panda - Context (one of band mates has this, sounds real good)
Strymon - Big Sky
Strymon - Blue Sky (mini big sky)

all these are pretty versatile and can go to outer space as well.
enjoy the rabbit hole and i hope you like having no money

here's a flick of my board.
reading like a book:

T-Rex Fuel Tank - power supply
Redwitch Synthotron - synth, sample and hold, filter, noise maker
Zvex Instant Lofi Junky - basically 303 vinyl sim in a pedal
Electro-Harmonix Super Ego - sample and freeze
BOSS DD7 - delay, looper
Strymon Flint - reverb, tremolo
Mooer Eleclady - flanger
Dark Glass Duality - fuzz/distortion
Redwitch Fuzz God II - fuzz with oscillator
TC Electronic Polytune - tuner

Got a BOSS VO-1 today. Played mostly with the talkbox and have yet to check out the other modes and settings but I can say it's definitely a fun pedal:

Trying my best not to throw down money for Fairfield Circuitry's Meet Maude.
It's an analog delay but im intrested in its murky tonal capabilities.
You guys should check it out.
The only thing that is keeping me from buying it is that im scared it wot sound good on anything except guitar.
