In the 11 years I've had my 404, I never once used or even learned how to use the pattern function.

The pattern sequencer is easy to use. What are you using currently to sequence everything?

Resample is also easy to use! I used to make full tracks using resample only but now sometimes i piece it together on the laptop

it takes a few tries sometimes. sometimes quite a few, to get it right on time, but it doesn't bother me much. it reminds me of a video game where you have to press the button at the perfect time. plus gives me a reason to listen over it a few times, which sometimes leads to new ideas or corrections

Did you own an SP-202 before you bought the 404? I recall the 202 don't have a sequencer, which is why I'm asking.

I just resample. I can use the sequencer but I would rather resample.

I don't consider it a big deal.. was hoping to prompt other cat's SP confessions more so than a discussion about mine.
