so I've been without an SP for a couple months, and today I finally sorted out my replacement,

just pluggin it in, yay!

(Stuck with the 404 for its battery powered-ness)

and yep I'm playing with the pitch effect hahah. . . I decided not having chromatic sampling is in fact a blessing in diguise, why limit yourself to 12 notes an octave when you have the entire frequency spectrum at your disposal!?

you gonna drop some loops you've made in ableton into it for live tweakage?

for sure. . . all sorts of stuff, from drum loops to synth patches, etc etc.. Also going to use ableton like an extra effects box for all the cool digital glitching and stuff you cant do on the 404.

but for now, just getting reacquainted with the way of working...

feeling very inspired all round!!
