Yah Man,

Your race doesn't matter at all. Only thing that matters is your ability to rock the mic. I personally feel there is just as many if not more dope white MC's than black MC's. And Mr. Lif is Aisan, so it definately doesn't matter. Just to prove my point take a look at these videos.

Slug leaves a little something to be desired, but Eyedea, if you've never heard him, prepare to be inspired.

One of the best ever. Rapping is the ability to tell a story stylishly, which relates more to life experiences then skin color.

Hah. I knew once I read it was about white rappers that I'd be dropping Eyedea for everybody.

He's crazy good.

Find ALL albums by ALL these MCs. The question of whether a white (or asian) dude can rap will *never* cross your mind again. I know there are so many more dudes, but those are the first ones to jump off my mind. Seriously, LISTEN TO THEM ALL.

Oh man! I wish I could be you and get to hear Aesop and El-P for the first time again! I'm jealous.

Ill Bill is ill except too many times guy changes his style. I like a lot of his demos from early 90s. And of course NONPHIXION

i go through phases of love/hate with the whole non-phixion/necro/jedi mind tricks posse and everybody associated with them. sometimes i love them for their hard sound but right now i think they are a bunch of faggots who need to use retarded satanic references and stand in front of graveyards whilst having their picture taken to sound tough. vinnie paz is also a fucking idiot (even though the psycho-social LP and violent by design are some of my favourite albums ever). stoupe always holds it down on production though.
