I picked one up yesterday and im loving it! seriously, i cant believe held off for this long without one. Ill post up my personal pro's and cons of the 303 and 404 in the 404 forum, but to sum up it. both of them together are a beast of a combination!

anyways, this is just a quick one with the 303 and my moog opus 3 entitled "Nagoya Train Station 3am": http://www.myspace.com/jontidaniels

Would you be so kind and create the exact same song on both machines so we have a sound comparison?

Dr.SP and I wanted to do that but I think he somehow forgot.

i like it, the sloppy style of the drums gave the track a good feel... did you play the moog or programed it behind the drums? the 303 is sick, i like the sound & pads 8)

thanks. and the moog hasnt got midi or anything so it was all just played in real time. Plus i didnt midi up r even record to a metronome when tracking the 303, so it was all in real time.

and most blunted, i dont think i would be able to create the same song with the 404 it wasnt done to a metronome, so it would be quite tricky the same timing with 404. But ill try create a simple sound comparison one day...

The other songs were primarily created with my laptop using guru and digital performer and recording all the samples, guitar/bass, synth and percussion through the 404.

But now i think im gonna be primarily on the 303 and try to learn that machine.

nice beat. very calm and relaxing. professional sounding too. I always thought about getting a nice synth.
