 Post subject: Bedroom recording advice needed

Yo I recorded this in my bedroom with a shure sm58 and a mr-8hd multitrack in my dorm room. How do y'all think it sounds and do y'all have any advice on getting a better sound?

yea the sound is OK . maybe do with a mic foam .. or a sock . then add reverb + compression

I liked it, but I admittedly have no ear for producing. Love the chill beat though, that all samples?

My recorder don't have a compression effect on it. and I guess they're samples. I sampled myself playing guitar and I 16 leveled a horn sample on the mpc for the other sound.

aha . you could prob compress the track in Audacity or any other DAW after

yeah compress a little bit for sure, also get the mic away from your wall put it in the center of the room if anything
