Sharing out of boredom for any feedback really. Curious if this has musical value when your brain isn't mud.

hahaha I agree man. I have been stepping out of the getting to know my 404 realm since making that. Can't say I'm in love with anything I've made along the way, so i have to agree.

thanks for the feedback

Sounds like a loop that you jammed out with for too long.
It started off with a decent sample, the little chop you made could have been played twice and then shifted into another sample.
But ya, its just a jam session that goes on for too long with some experimental effects.
Good for getting your feet wet. Any time spent on a sampler is time qell spent. The more you mess with it and experiment the more efficient you'll become. And it sounds like you're trying to find your own unique sound.
Which is cool cus they're are tons of cookie cutter cats out there that buy a SP or two because they heard Dilla and Madlib used them.

Just keep at it dude.

I sorta got intereated in the vocal sample.
Maybe find some other vocal chops. Maybe that record got some one-shots you can sample. Maybe something you can string together to create a groove.
That record soinds like there will be stuuf for you to lift.
Sampling is a collage dude. It is art.
Piece it together til something forms into a piece you like.
Keep recording.

no discouragement felt. that sloppy jam is really lacking - I have to agree. and I really appreciate the comments.

I've been working this thing daily since. I'm trying to stick with that plan for another week or two before I post anything else.

I'll toss it up here for shits too.
