took this pic of my gear for a beat tape cover drawing and noticed that i could see the tape through one side of the decks. then i looked closer and saw it was a cat.
or kinda sorta looked like one.
was listening to a scientist talking about how our brains are designed to apply meaning to what it sees, as a mechanism for survival. If you see the foliage moving strangely, there might be a purpose behind it, such as a deadly beast of an animal that wants to eat your ass. So he's saying there's an evolutionary reward for detecting purpose. That might be why when many of us frequently see incredible synchronicity, we call it signs. Or maybe they really are signs that we are on our path and everything is perfect. I don't know, and thank god or no god for that. I do know that it was a dope moment when I was editing the video of the recording of the last track and the camera automatically focused as i said "thanking god for being godly". I also know that nothing could better give me closure for my nightly paper route better than our song about it did.
