we need shades- ill beat. nice piano chops, very catchy tune. where did your bass come from?

roll with me- nice. sick melody- I recognize that classic drum break chopped up. 8)

what time is it?- sounds like a sick interlude beat. maby cut the midrange in the sample a little

sound quality is like a boom bap era demo tape. How did you get that sound?
props on the beats

I always experiment with sound. First of all I recorded to an old tascam 4 track. The beats outta' the 404 have some lo-fi effects applied to the drums and the piano samples are mostly from really old Jazz LPs.

One really important thing I just learned today, is that you should never
sample with the 'lo-fi' button on. It makes it sound worse, but also more digital. Rather run it through the lo-fi effects and then vinyl-sim.

Thanks!

Good stuff man, "Will You Roll With Me" used the Lee Dorsey break "Get Out My Life Woman" if my ears are don't deceive me.
