oh, one thing that sucks about the pt-01 though: the only way to stop the record from spinning is to pick up the needle and move the arm away. so you have to turn it on and off if you don't wanna lose your place... kind of annoying.

kel, you can disconnect the power cable from the pt-01 and it will act like a "stop button" :)
at least it works for me

i never thought of that-

maybe hooking it up to a surge strip and powering down would also make the process quick and easy

Hey Everyone :)

As I am a vinyl lover and I love listening music on turntables.I recently bought the crosley cruiser turntable .I read about it on http://www.crosleyradio.com/ProductDetail?Cat=2&pk=CR8005A and crosley portable turntable and these were really helpful as they provided me insights of the features of top turntables. I did a comparison & finally ended up buying this one.The speakers are wonderful.
Regards
Sarah Dennis

Not to burst your bubble, but the Crosleys are probably the worst portable turntables on the market.
I rather use a Fisher Price over them.

Comparing products based on information taken from the manufacturers' sites alone is not a good shopping technique. Try researching from non affiliated 3rd party review sites.
