hello Everyone.......
u know how to calculate l(in samples..ms...)latency between sp303 and protoolsLE.....is it a midi latency(they're in sync not so much but..)or audio latency??i see a lil space from the start of my protools grid Bar..before recordings is every time the same can i calculate it??

There's probably a setting in protools to raise the latency.

so...u think it's audio latency..???

i've tried differrent changes in audio buffer size...menu,,,,but nothing relevant....

could be midi??there a way to calculate it??

Well, I'm not sure but if you are syncing protools to the sp through midi then it might be a something to do with the midi time code in protools.

theres alot of variables there. It could be your clock, it could be your midi interface...

Real talk thats why I never use midi, it's a hassle more then it's useful to me. Usually by the time everything is setup I don't even feel like making a beat anymore which is also why I stopped using computers for beats, unless of course I need to do some serious editing and already have samples and a song structure in my head. Check youtube for videos about midi or call Roland they'll know what's good.
