There are websites, but they only have the really overused samples anyway, so while it's a pain to get the sampler out, it's the only way to hunt down gems that nobody else has yet used...

I like to get $1 DVDs of old B-Grade action films and hunt through them for samples - I play them with the sound only (no picture) so nothing interferes with the 'hunt'..

Yeah, the best way to get good ones is to dig for them like records. I have a really good memory so I kinda catalog samples I want from film and tv so I can sample it when it would fit the theme of a beat. I also record things on my on DVR that give me ideas while watching cable and when I have it I can just fast forward to the sample for use.

if you have those b-movie channels you can find a lot of dope samples on that.

don't know about famous movie quotes tho.
but i think they're mainly played out anyway.

If you have netflix or something you could just rent the movie you want a sample from and plug the sampler into the audio output. Just please for the love of god don't sample Scarface.

I'm all about sampling obscure foreign films so most people don't have any idea whats being said, plus english is one of the ugliest languages to sample right below german. You gotta get some portuguese samples.
