 Post subject: madlib is going crazy with the effects on the 303?

Ok, you don't have to download anything here.
This is streaming audio, so you can listen to it right away.

Madlib made a track, and I know (because he said in an interview) that he used the 303.

this is a snippet from the track:

and I also know that he used this sample:

but the sample sounds so different, I mean the trump sounds like a flute in madlibs version. Did madlib go carzy with the effects?( if yes, tell me a little about that) or did he actually replay that stuff (I don't think so though).

He replay instrument in this song. Because Blue Note gave to Madlib their archive. So Madlib can take what he need, for example only the drums, or trumpet. :arrow: Do this change to sample is impossible, men. :D

damn, so they gave madlib the masters?!

i find it interesting that they still have separate channel versions of those tracks.

of course they knew exactly who could do the most with such precious audio :)

Yes they gave madlib the masters. Its very interesting to me because he can re-record any, ANY song of blue note. :o :o :o
