For those old school records where the vocals are hard panned to L or R is there a way to take only that pan with the vocals (strictly using the 404). I have a feeling this is something I'm just gonna have to do on the laptop or unplug an RCA before recording the sample. I tried using the tremolo/pan but I don't want the tremolo effect.

All you have to do is unplug the unwanted channel from the 404,s inputs and set to mono before sampling.
