How do you guys multitrack your SPs?

I mainly just jam with my 404 and guitar but when done renovating my new house I want to start dropping tracks. I want to have my 404 as the backing tracks then guitar and vocals. I have a cheap usb sound card and a free version of Ableton, looking for alternatives.

Boss BR80 to capture initial beat . then add layers on top in multi track sequencer . you can eq . pan . reverb . very descent tool . plus masterring bounce . keeps the process outside of computers
