HI,
I'm owning an SP555 since a while. I do post this here though since it counts for a lot of other sp's as well.
Currently I'm recording loops into the sp-555 and play them by hand at the same time.
I would love to have a "song mode" though just as on the mpc and lot's of drum machines. There I would imagine I can define a following of patterns, and adjust which samples would play from the beginning for each pattern. And then how they play after each other, pattern1, pattern2 etc..

What would be the simplest software to do so, or is there even a hardware sequencer that could do the trick? I'm not looking for something feature-rich like ableton. The best would be something like the pattern sequencer for the sp-404 made here, but then adjusted for making SONGS. And more workable for the 555 as well.

Sorry mate I can't help, I'm just glad I copped the 505 when I read this. Its pattern and song sequencer is not the best I've seen, but it's there.
