Hello,

I am currently using the SP 555 as my audio interface for multitrack recording into Sonar 7 connected via supplied USB cable on my Laptop.

The problem is when I record a track (well say Track 1) by selecting Roland SP 555 ASIO in, it records everything, even the previous track that I just recorded, even the metronome. I want to be able to here the playback of Track 1 for example while recording Track 2 without re-recording Track 1 and everything else I.E. metronome. Am I missing something simple here?

. Im suprised that I couldn't find others with similar problems.

and btw. I understand everything regarding driver settings within sonar. Just wondering if anyone out there found a workaround to using "Another" audio interface.

Cause then whats the point of the Roland being an audio interface if I need another to multitrack record?

Gotta check the manual... I forget the exact procedure but you can set the USB to output only. I think u hold down cancel and line in and turn ctrl3 or something.
