damn... i'm so undecided!
what about the korg electribe sx-1 then? anybody ever tried it?

Which is basically why I'd want a SP-555, SP-606 (already have that) and Electribe ES1. i had to sell my SP-555, but I'm seriously thinking about getting another one... Most likely scenario will be that I will be waiting for the next SP Roland will release though, as I'm pretty broke right now.

Depending on how good the new SP machine is I might even decide to sell my SP-606. Also, it's surprising how little I use the SP 606's auto chop these days... copying to clipboard and editing it from there goes faster and gives more flexibility to the process.

So i bought it.

I only had a couple of hours to play with it and overall i'm pleased with it.

BUT I'M SO PISSED ABOUT THIS: everytime you want to reset the loop capture after you've recorded a phrase (say you dont like it) and you hit DEL to delete it, EVERYTHING WILL STOP!!!
I can't ****ing believe this... how are we supposed to use this live??? i mean, loop capture is the reason i bought the 555 over the 404 and now it turns out it's damn useless live??? argh!?!?
Please tell me there's a magic workaround on this or i'll have to sell the baby on ebay....
argh!

edit: i just found out from another topic this trick

"hold down effect assign and and press rec on the loop capture and it clears it w/o stopping ne other audio"
