Is there anyway to get some decay on the SP303 I got some chops that keep crackling at the end and was wondering if there was a way to get ride of that using attack and decay of some sort...or do I just need to aim for better chops?

I recently got a Microkorg and it helps to do this very thing. If you use the MK as a midi controller it can trigger the sp-303. Then you route audio through the Microkorg on osc 1 set to audio. When you press a key it will open up the audio gate. If you press a key you will hear a sample if the key triggers a pad with a sample. Now you can apply the Amp EG and Filter Eg plus everything else to the samples. It helps to have the attack on 3-6 to help take away the sharpness of the sample. I usually set the velocity curve to suit what I'm playing as well.

Without the Microkorg it is just raw chops. Which is great if not better. I mean what did you get the sp for other then for the rawness.

Damn that's a gnarly idea... I never thought to use my microkorg as a midi/fx processor... Nice bro.
