Share your rig! I want to know what your set up from your sp to whatever you run it through and how you track it! I'm still new on the 303 and haven't had much time BUT now i do! It would help a lot seeing other ways users set up.

Thank you for sharing!

Turntable -> SP303 -> 2000xl -> DAW

I run all samples thru the 303 and record it directly on the xl. I then chop/sequence on there. If I need effects, I'll sample into the 303 then back to the xl. When it's all said and done, I'll track out into logic.

n00b question..
Instead of swapping cables when sampling into the 303 from the MPC, could I just run a cable from 1 of the 8 outs and sample through the 303's mic in?

Probably, but there's a good chance you'll get massive feedback. The only way to know is to try. If switching cables is a huge problem for you, look into something like an akai mb76. They are old and you can get different routing options (*at least that's my impression of it*). Switching cables seems easier though.
I personally have my 303 and 404 set up as external audio effects for Ableton.
Interface->303->404->Interface. This allows me to put effects onto pretty well anything I've recorded or any sound my computer can make. This also keeps the mic input/s open for guitars, tape... anything i can plug in, and it's still routed back to my interface.

i dont have a 303 but.

Mixer>MPC200xl>Sp202>sp404

I have my turntable, computer, and cassette connected to mixer so I can sample what ever I feel like without having to fumble cables around.
