Owwww this is all about the infamous 1/16 chopping the MPC does, now I understand. They think they can't chop in 1/16th with 12 pads, but I'm pretty sure they are wrong there. Besides, it's 3/4 then instead of 4/4.

Mathematically that should still not matter that much.

definitely a good video... that's how it should be laid down, and also a very SP style of jamming. I fully agree that you can jam on 12. That other cat was just replaying the original 2-bar loop over 16 pads all played back in their original sequence and then placed over a separate track with the drums.

Yeah, I don't quite get why one would order the samples like that, seems like a waste of time to me actually, apart from the fact that it's not creative indeed. Lmao, it's easier to remember how to play I guess? :P :lol:
