 Post subject: acid loops question

i dont know if anyone on here has use them or not but if anybody has sony sound series loops i was wondering if u can load that disc in a standard cd player n sample it that way rather then loadin it in to the pc. i know it doesn't make much sense but i'm always lookin for ways to shorten my wrench time n get to da creative process. as always peeps thanks in advance for da replys

even if no one knows about da acid loops has anybody used loop cd's of any kind in a standard cd player n been able to sample from them?

I personally don't use any type of sample CDs or loops packages or any of that shit.

However there's an easy solution to your question: Put the CD in your CD player and hit the play button. If the shit plays, sample it. If it doesn't they're probably in some type of ACID format (I don't use that program so I don't know anything about it). Take the time to open all the loops in ACID and save each one as a WAV or MP3, then burn a disk, then play that shit and sample from it.

Or get a turntable and some records. Good luck man.

i dont actually own them yet, dat was the reason i was askin before i spent da money. but u answered my question in a way i wasn't even thinkin about. thanks winslow n thanks frantic even if u didn't know the answer

Im not sure if I can answer your question but If i were you id invest that money into records instead. Just my opinion. Im sure there is some dope loops on the disks though.
