Yo.
It's time to face the facts and list your bad SP workflow habits...

My number one nutty habit is getting my mix sounding sweet when resampling whole passages/parts of my tune, then I delete stuff I shouldn't...

Yikes.

Now my new tune sounds WAY to sloppy and cluttered...at first I thought it was dope....now I need to rethink the whole track, because I deleted all my original samples....grrr.

Truncating every time you resample.

Mine would be putting a record on, hearing a sample, planning to come back to it, then forgetting where to find it.

also having no desire to go past making beats microwavable .. how im rolling

over doing the layers instead of keeping it simple effective .. 50 snare overlap sundrome

not deleting samples or getting past the laziness to archive the samples to my computer. this leads to a lot of of un-organized samples everywhere which is just awful

:? :|

DJ Looper overuse.

It's a fun effect, but there's better effects out there to get rhythmic changes in a tune without abusing this effect. Unfortunately, on the SX at least, it's a button right there on the face of the damn thing, always calling me..."Hey, HS, you know you wanna push me...you remember all the fun times we had? You remember the first time we made music together?" And them I'm like about to push it and then I pull back and yell "NO! You're bad for my sound! Everyone knows you, you've been around the block like a 2 dollar whore trying to save up money for a new car! We ain't cool any more. I might call you on a Friday night when I ain't got a date or something, but it ain't like we're still together. That shit is a booty call, nothin' more. Get over it and stop calling me or I'll change my phone number!"

Then DJ Looper starts turning on the waterworks..they used to work on me, but once you know it's just out to use you, the tears start having no effect on you...

 ^Classic. Looper got old and cheap quick, didn't she? Can't say I'll never use her again, tho. She's still fun and easy.

My worst habit is getting overly confident with the delete button when I'm zonin.

Spending so much time on a beat that by the time I'm done, I fucking hate it.

using generic qtz drum lines is my downfall, however when I sit and program all beats 8. 16. 16.3 24 exactly where they neeed to bee and adjust them with air, i am happy but this requires detailed attention to every single aspect of the song , not just the drum line. you need to compliment every part of your music with percussion.

another yucky habbit, I am fanatically evangelical about is using the headphone and mic jack for I/O. bad news here folks, use those for what therre meant for, mic and headphones.
